Mundelein Junior Football League

Located in northern Illinois, the Mundelein Junior Football League provides organized youth football and cheerleading to children through the 8th grade within Mundelein and surrounding communities. Founded in 1956, our league's success is a testimony to the diligent work of parents, coaches, the local business community and the children of the MJFL. Their commitment, dedication and support have allowed our league to thrive and provide our youth with a positive and fun sports experience.

Varsity Cheerleaders Win the State Title!

CONGRATULATIONS to all 140 MJFL cheerleaders who competed in the State Recreational Cheer Championship this last weekend at Northern Illinois University. All teams were successful and should be very proud. The teams took the following places in the state championship:

Bantams 4th place

Featherweights 3rd place

MidVarsity 4th place

Junior Varsity 2nd place

Varsity 1st place and the State Title!!

MJFL Says Goodbye to Wendell Davis

MJFL is losing Wendell Davis to the NFL.   Wendell Davis, a former Chicago Bear and MJFL coach for 6 years, is now the Assistant Receivers Coach for the San Francisco 49ers.  We wish Coach Davis well and wish him the best of luck in his new position.  We'll miss you, coach.
