Welcome to the Mizuno Pride 2000 Home Page.  Here you will find information about our team, our mission, and our expectations.

A great coach stated, “When a team outgrows individual performance and learns team confidence, excellence becomes a reality.” This single principal defines the mission within the Mizuno Pride organization and is the philosophy driving our coaches and players as we prepare for the upcoming season.

The Mizuno Pride 2000 team is part of a larger Mizuno Pride organization with teams competing at the highest levels in the 12U, 14U, 16U,and 18U-Gold Divisions.  We’re located in the South Bay Area and draw talented players from all over Los Angeles County, Orange County, and other areas within Southern California.

The Mizuno Pride 2000 team will provide our players with the opportunity for growth and create an environment that challenges and motivates them through hard work, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. We stress character development, improvement of softball skills, and being a good teammate.  Our team is committed to compete at the highest levels in girls fastpitch softball while building player confidence, skills, and having fun along the journey.

The Mizuno Pride 18U-Gold team has had 62 players in the past six seasons go and play softball at the collegiate level on scholarships.  This was due to the players love and dedication for the game and an organization that shares their vision and dreams of playing college softball.
