REGISTRATION 2010!!
IMPORTANT!!!! PLEASE READ !!!! NEW FBYFL RULE!!!!
All returning players are required to be allowed to register for the 2010 season until December 31st, 2009 before OPEN registration is allowed for NEW players. For all who do not register by December 31st, you will then lose your existing position to any new applicant at the first Open registration date after January 1st, 2010. This is the official date that we are allowed to take applications however, we will announce the date of which we will begin taking new players and cheerleaders for 2010. There are no exceptions as this is now being governed by the league. After December 31st, if you have not registered with the Missouri City Raiders, as a returning player or cheerleader, according to FBYFL rules, we are not obligated to allow your child to participate in the upcoming season and you will be subjected to our (RAIDERS) policies concerning waiting list applicants, roster limitations, and coaches discretionary allowances.
2010 fees have yet to be decided and you will be advised as soon as they are finalized. Registration will be open to all NEWCOMERS on our 1st official OPEN registration date in January.
The Raiders have always allowed their existing players to return, so this new rule did not affect our organization from that standpoint, however, what has changed is the application process as follows:
1. There are no verbal "commitments to return" that are valid or that will be accepted.
2. There are no copies of application that can be emailed, faxed, or randomly handed out.
3. There is no online registration.+
4. All applications must be completed in person and on the FBYFL official triplicate form.
5. Each application has an imprinted assigned number and registered with FBYFL.
6. No waiting list or sibling (new player) applications can be accepted before January 1st.
7. The most important NEW rule! All applications are binding your child to the franchise / organization it was submitted to. Once the application is completed, if there is a desire for your son or daughter to move to another FBYFL organization, a $250 fine will be assessed by the league and your child will be released to move once it is paid. Secondly, if you complete an application with more than one franchise/ organization within FBYFL, you will be assessed a $250 fine, which will be due and payable before your child is allowed to participate in either organization's upcoming season.
