Do I have to help out with a fundraiser?
| |
For the fourth year in a row, MTLL will not be asking our families to take part in a fundraiser!
Mission Trails Little League works with our neighborhood grocery stores to take advantage of the community partnership programs that some of them offered.
The Board of Directors believe that we can raise enough funds this way so that we don't have to ask our families to sell candy or discount cards.
Thanks go to all the families who are already participating in this program when they shop at Albertsons or Ralphs. The Albertsons program has changed a little bit and we will be providing more information at registration.
The way this works is the stores rebate a portion of each sale to the league from every purchase made by the families that we've signed-up and NO COST IS ADDED TO THE BILL. |
Since I'll have my checkbook out, what else can I spend money on at registration?
| |
We have two more opportunities for you!
The league is sponsoring a pre-season fundamentals clinic. The B.A.S.E. Up group will be running the clinics again this year. There will be one clinic for players in Minors and Majors and another one for T-Ball and Caps. This format benefits the players by allowing them to be with kids that are of a similar skill level. B.A.S.E. Up has provided these clinics the past few years and done a great job.
The fee for the clinic is $10. This should be a great opportunity for the kids!
At the end of the season, all the players receive a yearbook. For $10, you can buy a line in the yearbook and send a message to your favorite player(s). |
