Courtney Wilhelms Verbals to Cal State San Bernardino!!!!!
The Minors Gold Softball organization is pleased to announce the second player to verbal this fall.
Courtney Wilhelms has verballed to Cal State San Bernardino University. She attends La Sierra H.S. in Riverside she plays pitcher and Shortstop and carries an strong bat for her teams.
Courtney will be joining up with her coach Leti Gamboa, who is an assistant at CSSBU. Leti was also played with the Minors Gold Organization.

Meagan Silva Verbals to CBU
The Minors Gold Softball organization is pleased to announce that Meagan Silva has verballed to Cal Baptist University in Riverside. She attends Redlands East Valley H.S. She plays outfield, is quick on the basepaths and carries an awesome bat for Minors Gold.
Please join with us in wishing her and her family congratulations on achieving this huge milestone in their lives.
Meagan is the first of the Class of 2008 to committ to a university. This is just the first of many others to come in the next few months.

Minors Takes 1st Place @ Stephanie Skamnes Tourney
Congratulations to Minors Gold for such a good showing at the tournament. After losing the last game on Saturday and coming back to send 4 other teams home on Sunday and taking home the first place award in the 18U division. A job well done by all.

Congratulations to Girls for 2nd Place at Colorado Fireworks - 2007
We had a great week in Colorado! We played some awesome softball and met some fantastic people. We beat Firecrackers - Rico, by playing great defence and staying in the game all the way to the end, and winning it in ITB by 3-2. We then went to the final game with a couple of hours to play and still being able to get to our plane on time. During the week the girls hit several homeruns (6) and many more caught with the defence breaking down the fences.
We met Grandpa Colorado, who was at everyone of our game all the way to the end. What an awesome week and great team we have.

Player Information Sheets
In order to get the players profiles done in time for the upcoming tournaments everyone must have their profiles to me by no later than 09/15/05. You can use the form on the "Handouts" page of the website or you can send me your own copy of what you would like to have posted. To get an idea look at the players profiles that have been on the team. You will get a pretty good idea of what we are looking for. If you want other items posted, just attach them and email them to me.

Minors Gold (Way) is an ASA/USA 18U GOLD division team. We are based out of Corona, Ca. with our home field located at Corona High School. See "Maps to Fields" in menu.
We have qualified and participated in the 1998, 1999, 2000 and the 2001 Nationals. To understand the level of competition required, and the number of teams competing at this level "point and click" on "18U Gold Teams" in the menu. Remember...99% of all Scholarships are determined and obtained at this level.
The Minor's Gold staff continually helps players obtain scholarships through hard work and training.
