The Minnetonka High School Girls Soccer Program completed the 2009 season with an outstanding 47-12-5 overall record as a group. They also scored 169 goals for and only 45 goals against. The tradition of being a very competitive and top program 9th-12th continues...
Varsity
Finished ranked #10 in the State final MSHSSCA rankings. Had an overall record of 10-5-3 and a 2-3-2 conference record. Received the #2 Seed in Section 6AA. The team scored a total of 32 goals for and allowed 18 goals against. Leading scorers included Kara E. with 5 goals and 3 assists, Carolyn D. with 5 goals and 2 assists, and Ellie C. with 2 goals and 5 assists.
Junior Varsity
Finished the season with a 9-3-1 record. The girls battled hard, played collectively as a group, and had many on field success.
Sophomores
Completed a very successful season going 12-1. This group of girls scored 76 goals and conceded only 1. Their schedule consisted of playing 2 junior varsity teams with their only loss coming against Eden Prairie 1-0. Leading scorers included Hannah G. with 19 goals and 5 assists, Abby K. with 18 goals and 7 assists, and Lana A. with 8 goals and 4 assists. Way to go girls!
9A
Finished their season with a 6-3-1 record. Scored 27 goals and conceded 18 goals against. The team blended together and created some exciting moments at times. Played with skill and desire.
9B
Had an undefeated season going 10-0. Awesome!!! Scored a total of 34 goals and only allowed 8 against. Leading scorers included Katie P. with 5 goals and 1 assist, Anna W. with 5 goals and 2 assists, Ellana D. with 4 goals and 3 assists, and Maddie P. with 4 goals and 1 assist.
