Minnetonka High School Girls Soccer 2012: Welcome

Welcome to the Minnetonka High School Girls Soccer Program website! We are a program rich in tradition of success both on and off of the field. The purpose of this site is to help provide players, families, and fans with useful information regarding our program. Our ultimate goals are to have players develop and achieve success through competition, teamwork, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Although we are losing many outstanding seniors, we return a very strong core of talented players with varsity experience along with other returning players who we will be looking forward to stepping up and contributing to the varsity team. We also have strengthened our non-conference schedule by adding several top teams that were either ranked or near the top of their respected conferences/sections. Additions include, St. Louis Park (also a section opponent), Rosemount, Benilde St. Margaret's, and Detroit Lakes for our Soccer Saturday. We will also continue to play Anoka, Shakopee, Minneapolis South, and Armstrong along with our regular season contests within our strong Lake Conference games. The 2012 campaign looks to bring a formidable task and will challenge us each day. In order to reach our goals of winning the conference, section, and ultimately the state title we need a focused commitment and extremely hard work from players to take us to the next level. Players need to work on taking an active role in improving their strength and conditioning, increasing individual skill level, and playing at the highest level possible. Accept this challenge and make the most of your potential.
