The Milwaukee Bombers are a nonprofit, select youth baseball program offering tournament baseball to children registered in North Central Little League (NCLL). Our goal is to promote competitive baseball with emphasis on sportsmanship and community responsibility.
We provide NCLL athletes an opportunity to play in a more competitive tournament setting, with field sizes and pitching rules that differ from NCLL, to promote baseball skill development. We develop and support competitive teams that play in four tournaments against other communities in southeastern Wisconsin. We provide winter training in pitching, hitting and fielding skills, and attempt to minimize interference with other activities during the baseball off-season; we support kids participating in multiple sports.
The Milwaukee Bombers stress the responsibility of athletes to their community and to be good role models. This year we are also creating a mentoring program encouraging our older players to become mentors to our younger players. This not only helps our players develop good baseball skills, but also good leadership skills and a sense of responsibility.
