Registration for 2010 Season If you have a returning player to Little League, and missed our November and December registration dates you may still register online (Parents of new players must contact the Registrar, Rob Finelli Please click on the 'Handout' below for additional registration information including fees and how to register online. Note that online registration will be available starting November 11 (link below), and is for returning MILL players only. Anyone registering a new player must register in person. GET YOUR LITTLE LEAGUE INFORMATION SENT VIA EMAIL
We would like to keep our little league families informed on MILL events, clinics, rainouts, field changes, etc. Please join our email list. After you click 'Join' you will receive an email from MILL asking you to update some information. This information will help the league direct specific emails to you as needed. This list and all information will be maintained and kept by Massapequa International Little League using the Constant Contact program. No information will be distributed to other individuals.

Behr Wins at Yankee Stadium
JORDAN BEHR WINS 1ST PLACE AT THE PITCH, HIT, AND RUN AT YANKEE STADIUM! On June 6th, Jordan Behr traveled to Yankee Stadium to compete in the team phase of Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit, and Run. Jordan advanced from the local and sectional phases, to compete against players from the tri-state area and parts of New England. Beating a kid from Buffalo, NY by 5 points, Jordan was the winner of the 11/12 year old age group. Once the other team competitions are completed nationwide, Behr will find out if he is one of the top 4 in his age group. If so, the Behr family will travel to the MLB All-Star Game in St. Louis for the PHR Finals. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Massapequa International Little League, we want to congratulate Jordan on a fantastic performance, and wish him the best of luck!

Williamsport
Williamsport Tournament Season
MILL's Junior Softball won the Long Island Championship by defeating East Meadow 3-2. Our New York State Section 6 Champions then traveled to Chatham, New York to compete in the States.
Massapequa made it to the semi-finals on Sunday, August 2nd. The game was scoreless through four innings, but MILL eventually lost 2-0 in a very well played game by both teams according to Manager Stu Paolino. Paolino added that Waldon ended up winning the State Championship (Waldon post District: 88 runs for, 3 against), and, "...losing to them 2-0 is nothing for us to feel sad about. Alex Szigethy pitched a wonderful game for us we just couldn't get anything going on offense against their very good pitcher. It was a wonderful experience by all."

Need $ for college ? if you are a graduating senior at MHS and have played through our program either in Baseball or Softball go down to the Guidance office and check out the requirements for the MILL Scholarship which is presented at the Awards ceremony in May.
