Join us as we prepare for the upcoming 2011-2012 Season. We look forward to a great season, implementation of several new rules and FUN for all the children involved in ALL of MILL's softball and baseball divisions.

The Board of Directors meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month in the basement of Village Hall on Front Street in Massapequa Park. Meeting times are 7:30pm off-season (August through March), and 8:00pm during the season (April through July). Join us and help out over 1000 kids.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - any time you can help out would be appreciated.  Counting pitches, working stopwatch, etc. EASY

Currently registered MILL players between the ages of 7 and 14 (age as of July 17, 2012) may register and compete anytime from 4:30 to 6:45, we will 'close' at 7pm.  Overall champions and winners in each age and skill category will advance to the Sectional portion of this event, with hopes of qualifying for the regional event at Citifield, and ultimately competing at the 2012 MLB All Star Game

OPENING DAY PARADE APRIL 14TH

LINE-UP 8:30am, Start time 9am

Teams will line-up and march within their respective divisions.  Designated meeting points are detailed in the handout below (find Parade Line-up under Special Events Flyers). 

The parade will begin at the corner of Front Street & Park Boulevard in Massapequa Park.  The parade will travel north on Park Blvd through town, west (left) on Clark, south (left) on Lake Shore to Brady Park.  Little League clothing will be on sale at Brady Park and the Brady Snack Shack will be open.

Moratorium on Composite Bats in Little League Baseball. 

On December 30, 2010 a letter was sent out by Little League International in S.Williamsport, Pennsylvania stating,

"Little League International has placed a moratorium on the use of composite bats in the Little League (Majors) Division and all other baseball divisions of Little League, effective immediately."

These new bat restrictions do NOT apply to Little League Softball.
