Being only a day trip - we did not see the other aspects of this Island other that what was offered in the harbor. There is a casino here - as well as hiking and sightseeing opportunities. This is probably a better place to visit in the summer months rather than mid-February as we did..

We soon came to realize that Hollywood has a darker side never shown on television. If you turn the camera away from the glitz and glamor - you will find that Hollywood is also very run down in places. (Observe the background of this photo). This photo was taken within 100 feet of where the Oscar Awards celebrations take place each March. This photo was taken February 26th - 9 days before the next Oscar awards - thus the metal barracades piled up along the sidewalk..

The Predators made their presence known in Central Park - New York City among "The Gates". The Gates was a $20 million art exhibit created by Christo and JeanneClaude (Christo). The exhibit lasted a mere 16 days before it was righteously dismantled.
