We would like to welcome Scott Snook, who was voted to fill an open position on the Board.
It was disappointing that more league heads and coaches did not attend our first meeting of 2010. At the meeting the bylaws were updated. Mifflin County will host the Sectional Tournaments this year for the 9/10 and 11/12 year old all star teams.

LEAGUE MEETING SUNDAY NOVEMBER 22, 2009 at 4:00 at the Milroy Fire House-Everyone is encouraged to attend, we will be reviewing and updating bylaws, dicussing officiating issues, we need to add an additional board member, dicuss all stars, fall ball for upcoming year-lots of things to cover-coaches, possible coaches, volunteers, parents umpires, association members from each league-please try to attend. If you are interested in becoming a board member, please email and let us know.

We had a good turn out for the first year doing this, we have enough girls for four teams, 2 in Lewistown, 1 in Yeagertown, and 1 in Strodes Mills.

Practices will start next week, you will be contacted by a coach with dates and times, practices will be no less than 3 a week. At the first practice you will need to provide, a copy of your daughters birth certificate, and 3 additional proof's of residency. This can be a copy of a utility bill, drivers license, insurance card, voter registration, etc... You cannot provide 3 utility bills, you can provide 2 utility bills but not three, I would suggest copy of utility bill, drivers license and a vehicle registration and/or an insurance card. This information is mandatory, if not received your child cannot play.
