In order to give all teams a fair shot at entering events, tournament entries must be mailed and may not be post marked prior to December 1st. Please note that Tournament Directors (TD) may not accept any hand delivered entries or entries without payment of the entry fee. The earliest date that a TD may accept an entry is December 1st. The Tournament Director must hold all entries until December 5th. On December 5th, the TD will enter all entries postmarked December 1st, then entries postmarked December 2nd, etc. until the event is full. If an event is over-full with entries postmarked December 1st, it is the TD’s discretion as to which teams are accepted (i.e. purple teams, area teams, 1st opened). A Tournament Director is required to notify teams that are not accepted within 5 business days.

Club Directors are encouraged to enter tournaments as soon as they are confident they will have a team to compete on the date of the tournament. Many fill quickly, months before the date of the event. Early season tournaments may be entered by simply sending an entry form noting the team name, team rep, contact information and submitting the entry fee. Once you get confirmation from the region office that your teams have been registered, go back to SignupToPlay and print out a Team Roster for each of your teams and send a copy of the roster to the Tournament Director.

Note: No team/individual will be allowed to participate in any event without verification of their USAV/Badger Region membership. A team that shows up without having previously provided the required information or without having it available prior to the start of the event, will NOT be allowed to participate and will be sanctioned as a “No Show” and fined accordingly.
