MIDWEST PENGUINS MISSION STATEMENT

The Midwest Penguins volleyball club is a member of the Badger Region, aimed at offering a high quality, reasonably priced, competitive volleyball program for young athletes ages 10-18. We view ourselves as partners with our participants, their families, our staff, our community, the Badger Region, and USA Volleyball. The Midwest Penguins emphasize teamwork, skill development, leadership, personal growth, endurance building, and fun. Our goal is moderate growth, while maintaining a high standard of excellence within our club.

3 DAY YOUTH CLINIC HOSTED BY The Penguin 14's National Team

Youth Volleyball Clinic presented by the 14-1 Penguin National Team

Grades K5 – 6th   Girls & Boys welcome!! 

Tuesday's--  May 22, 29 and June 5  (Still have openings!)
Location:      Center Court 815 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188
Times:           4:00-5:30pm  

Format:         60 min - of skill development, footwork, ball control, court related movement, hand-eye coordination, agility drills, and more.  Also 30 min - of volleyball games or similar game like drills 

Cost:              $35 for the 3 sessions and a cool participation gift!!                               

Levels:  (Note the levels are only a guide, and you can choose any level and change among sessions. ) 
Beginner aimed at K5-2 grades
Intermediate aimed at 3-4 grades
Advanced aimed at 5-6 grades

Format:
This program uses a new ball called First Touch. It is softer and very light and prevents soreness of the forearms.  Kids love it!  The advanced level will use the volley lite ball.  Program will include

  • Footwork and ball control
  • Hand-eye coordination drills
  • Court related movement
  • Volleyball Skill development
    • Passing
    • Serving
    • Attacking
    • Setting
  • Agility drills
  • Playing drills
  • Scrimmaging and games
