Friday, March 14
Pantherettes claw Lions 18-1.

The JV Pantherettes opened up their district season with Waco High Lions tonight at Pantherette Staduim and hit their way to a 18-1 win by run rule. Waco High scored first in the 1st inning taking an 1-0 lead after one but after that it was all Midway. After a slow first inning the Midway Pantherettes busted through in a big way in the 2nd inning by sending 24 batters to the plate scoring 18 runs. An amzing 2nd inning that included freshman shortstop, Sydney Watson going (3-3, scoring 3 runs and a RBI in the inning. After going up 18-1, Freshman pitcher, Mary Carol Fox shut down the Lions offense giving up only 2 hits with 5 strikeouts.

Leading hitters were, Sydney Watson(3-3,RBI), Shelby Jurek(2-3,2RBI), Ashley Combs(3B,RBI), Kelley Schaefer(2-3), Breanne Snyder(2B,2RBI), Brandi Lott(1B),

Wednesday, February 20
Pantherettes top A&M Consolidated (4-3).
The JV pantherettes found themselves down early (2-0) but answered with a run in the 2nd cuting it to (2-1). The pantherettes scored twice more in the 3rd when So. Aubrey Fredlund doubled scoring So.Ashley Combs and Fr. Breanne Snyder who reached base with back to back singles making it (3-2). A&M then tied it in the 6th (3-3) with a single and Sac Fly. Midway then regained the lead for good as Aubrey Fredlund pounded the first pitch she seen over left field fence for a solo homerun. Brenna Snyder got the win on the mound.


Monday, February 25
Pantherettes head to Lampasas Tuesday.
The Midway JV Pantherettes will travel to Lampasas HS located at 902 S.Broad Street, Lampasas, 76550 with the first pitch scheduled for 5:00. Stay tuned for game details as the pantherettes continue to build on their victory over A&M last Tuesday.

Pantherettes Rip Badgers 23-1!

The cold windy temperatures couldn't stop the pantherettes as they pounded the Lampasas Badgers 23-1 in Lampasas Tuesday night. The JV pantherettes and Fr. pitcher Mary Carol Fox shut down the badgers who got the win on the mound. Highlights of the night came by (2) homeruns from So. 1st baseman, Ashley Combs to LF and Fr.catcher Kelly Schaefer to CF. Please checkback for more game details against Lampasas.



Tuesday, March 11
The JV Pantherettes in Bryan College Station Saturday, March 15th

The JV pantherettes will travel to Bryan College Station this Saturday, March 15th for a one day tournament played at Veteran Fields. The Pantherettes are in Division 1 with the first game set for 10:00am against Magnolia West HS. FROM HWY 6 North:
Take Hwy 6 south into College Station. Take Harvey Rd/Hwy 30 Exit(Huntsville) and turn left under bridge. Follow about 1.5 miles and entrance to complex will be on left. Softball fields are located in the back of park
