Welcome to the Midway Little League Website

          Midway's All-Star season is over.  Midway's teams went 8-14.  Highlight was a 3rd place finish by the Junior All-Stars, who lost a trip to the championship game in an extra inning heartbreaker.  Details under My Site News.  Scores under Schedules

          Tommy Thiemann, a member of the Major Diamondbacks and the Brandywine Invitational team passed away on July 15 after suffering a brain aneurysm.  8 days earlier, he was playing for the Brandywine Invitational team where he caught a game-ending pop up in the win over Capitol.  He batted .400 in the tourney.  Rest in peace, Tommy.  We'll miss you!

           Newark National won the 9yo tournament hosted by Midway and Capitol.  They went undefeated and beat Naamans in the championship game.  Details under My Site News.  Completed brackets under Handouts.

          The Orioles beat the Diamondbacks in the Major Championship Game.  The Braves and the Orioles tied for first in the regular season, with the Braves winning the tiebreaker.

          The Cards beat the Orioles in the Minor Championship Game.  The Orioles won the regular season title.

          Midway Little League is a baseball league for children aged 4-16 with about 280 players. It is located between Wilmington and Newark in Delaware.  Midway plays it's home games at it's 5 field complex behind Forest Oak Elementary School.  3 of the fields have lights.
