Open Registration for 2012 FNWLL Season
1. Dates and Locations
2. If possible, complete the registration form ahead of time to make the process move along quickly. Scroll to the bottom of this note or click on the “Handouts” tab on the left sidebar to access the form. If you are not able to print the form, we will have blank copies available at the registration tables. 3. Registration fees are as follows:
4. In addition to the registration fee, you are required to purchase (1) fundraiser per family. The choices this year are:
5. For the Baseball Heaven option, if you want to purchase more than one pass, you can certainly do so. They are a pretty good deal as they give you a substantial discount off of their regular price. 6. Fees are payable in cash or check. We are not set up to accept credit cards. 7. If your child has not played before in the FNWLL, you will need to bring a copy of the birth certificate to the registration session. 8. MC Sports is located at 917 Joe Mann Blvd. It is located in the little strip mall next to Kohls, behind the Mall. 9. There is a place on the registration form to indicate an interest in managing a team. If you check this box, it simply indicates your interest and is not a final commitment. But we would ask folks to consider a team manager role as this historically proves to be one of the more difficult ones to fill, especially at the lower age levels. You have a skill in this area, please consider volunteering your time. It would be greatly appreciated. Handout: Registration Board Selected for 2012 FNWLL conducted it annual open meeting on November 1st 2011 to select board members for the upcoming season. Congratulations go to the newest board members - Kurt Ieuter, Pete Nichols, and Troy Kenyon - and their commitment to making FNWLL one of the best Little Leagues in the state. If there is an issue or question that you may have, look up the board member listed to the left. Consider Volunteering to Help Fraternal Northwest!! Fraternal Northwest Little League is proud of its programs, facilities, and the fun offered for hundreds of enthusiastic baseball players each year. The quality of our programs is entirely dependent on a dedicated team of volunteers that serve on our board or take specific roles to support the league. We would love to have your help in any one of a number of activities from serving as a volunteer for field maintenance, support for tournament activities, or more involved work on the board. If interested, please contact the League President or any of the FNWLL Board of Directors. Which Little League Organization Do You Belong? Little League organizations are made up of families and players who live in your area. The expectation is that where you live determines which organization you register. In the area surrounding Midland, there are 5 leagues associated with Little League. If you are unsure which league you belong, please check out the simple map attached to this message to determine if you live in the FNWLL area. We know that there are cases that you may want to play with a specific friend or school group. However, realize that playing out of a league area does eliminate some benefits associated with the experience. If you have questions regarding which organization to sign up with, do not hesitate to contact one of the board members listed. Handout: FNWLL Boundary Maps |
