Our champion in this division is Vicksburg Red winning the if game, excellent showing by second place Three Rivers team.  They advance to State play at Cheybogan.

Mattawan LL captures the flag and advances quickly to Richmond to begin play on 7/24.  Coldwater finished second, losing the if game by only one run.

Decatur marched thru the winner's bracket, and advances to Jackson Cascade for State of Michigan competition.  Vicksburg places second.

Schoolcraft captures the district.  Advanced to the Sectional, played at Eastern Michigan University on 7/20, beating D3 Ypsilanti by scores of 12 to 1, and under the lights Schoolcraft 4 -- Ypsilanti 3.  Schoolcraft advances to State competition at Gladstone, play begins 7/25.

Niles wins in the battle of the bats - 8 to7 over Vicksburg.  Niles advances to the sectional on Saturday, 7/25 against Lincoln Park from Ypsi District 3.  Niles wins two out of three to advance to State competition on July 31 at West Portage Little League in District 2.

Undefeated Mattawan 9&10 SB is off to District 5 for the State competition.  Congrats to the 2009 State Champion, also going undefeated in double elimination play, allowing only 7 runs scored against them in State competition!

Mattawan's Major Softball Team is our district champion.  Great showing for 2nd place Constantine/Centreville fighting back from their first game thru the loser's bracket.  In State competition, Mattawan finished second in their highly competitive pool to draw Cros/Lex in the Championship single elimination bracket losing 5 - 3 to Cros/Lex who went undefeated winning the State tournament.

Schoolcraft is our Junior SB division champion - holding off Constantine/Centreville in the IF game by a score of 3 to 1.  Schoolcraft continues their winning ways - defeating District 2 champion Gobles Little League twice (scores of 10-2 and 17-7) on 7/18 in sectional competition.  They now advance to State competition at Grayling.  They are the elite 8.  UPDATE:  Junior SB advances to the 4 team championship bracket.  Play begins 7/27.
