Mid-Hudson Rebels: Welcome
Originating in the Hudson Valley, the Mid-Hudson Rebels softball organization currently serves girls from Ulster County, Dutchess County, Columbia County, Greene County, Orange County as well as Albany regions of NY State. They currently serve girls ranging from age 8 to 18 and are considered one of the premier youth organizations in the area.
The Rebels create a positive and uplifting athletic experience that has developed many strong players over their short 6 year existance. They have prepared and showcased many athletes who have, or are currently playing all levels of collegiate softball, to include Division I, II, III, Junior College as well as a member of the Puerto Rican National Team.
In addition to top notch year round softball training, they have established strong ties in the community through service activities with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Queens Galley and Commitment for Kids events. Giving back to the community has taught numerous life lessons to our wonderful athletes and this lends to furthering their growth into productive members of our community in years to come. This service also helps build a childs resume for college and work purposes.
This combination of athletic as well as community service support lead to the Rebels being named 2012 Organization of the Year by the YWCA Tribute to Women Award!
The Rebels are a 501(C)3 not-for-profit organization. This status has allowed for us to keep our fees at a VERY reasonable level, at times 25% to 50% of the fees established by other organizations.
Come join this exciting and inspirational organization!
We are currently looking for experienced players on our U14 team! PLease contact John Villielm at (845) 590-1666 or Paul Roeber at (845) 430-4455.

The Mid-Hudson Rebels Softball Organization was awarded the YWCA Tribute to Women Award as Organization of the Year. The organization was also recognized by state Sen. John Bonacic and state Assemblyman Kevin Cahill with Certificates of Merit. The award was given at a celebration at the Hillside Manor.
The Rebels received this award for not only their top notch softball training provided, but also for the numerous charitable events that they support. They regularly support the American Cancer Society by providing service for numerous Relay for Life events, work at the Bloomington Fire Department's Commitment for Kids Holiday Toy drive as well as fundraising for the Queens Galley as well as YWCA. They have also raised money and participated in events in memory of Carmen Congelli, a former Rebel who passed away in 2011 due to cancer.
Below is a picture of board, current and past Rebels players from the event as well as pictures of the numerous awards.
