WOLVERINES finds success and 2 wins at VT STING One-Day Tourney
Middlebury Wolverines defeat Rising Sun from BARRE 32-27 in game 1. Bryce Burrell led the scoring for the wolverines with 8 first half points and 10 for the game. Bobby Ritter added 6, including a clutch 3-pointer at the end of the game. The Wolverines led 18-8 at the half, held off a BARRE charge in the 2nd period when the game tied at 25's. The team finished with a convincing 7-2 run to win 32-27.
Middlebury Wolverines defeat MANCHESTER 40-33 in game 2. Austin Robinson led the scoring for the wolverines with 9 second half points and 13 for the game. Perry DeLorenzo added 11, Bryce Burrell added 8 and Bobby Ritter with 6. The team combined for four(4) weighty 3 pointers in the 2nd half. The Wolverines trailed 10-2 early in the game and help from everyone in a solid team effort got the game back to even and more. The team finished strong again with a convincing 11-4 run to win 40-33.
