This site will provide you with everything you need to know about the Bluebirds, a basketball program that has been around for 65 years. We have boys and girls teams in grades five through eight. Teams participate exclusively in tournament competition. We play mainly in one-day events within an hour of Middleton.
Our philosophy is that tournament play provides a better opportunity for our players to experience consistently good competition, while also allowing for a flexible schedule that is attractive to players and families.
Our founder is Merlin Voss and our program director is Perry Hibner. If you have any questions, you can call Coach Hibner at 608-828-9891 (home) or 608-698-0314 (cell) or e-mail him at phibner@madison.com or bluebirdsbasketball@charter.net What's new in local basketball? Click on the local camp forms link to the left and find out. We're holding the inaugural Bluebirds Skills Sessions this fall, a six-week program that costs only $30 and includes a T-shirt. We also have registration forms for the Team Duke Skills Academy fall session, which is open to high school athletes looking to get ready for tryouts in November.
