Sunday, July 12 Junior Division State All Star Tournament Junior Division State Baseball Tournament. July 24 to July 29 Middlesex County is proud to host the Junior Division State Baseball Tournament. Opening Ceremony will take place Thursday night, July 23rd at 6:00pm on Field 3. The ceremony will be followed by a picnic to be held at 7:00pm at the Beacon restaurant. Games begin at 9:00 am, Friday July 24 on Fields 1 and 3. They continue at 12:00pm, 3:00pm and 6:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday, July 27 games will take place at 10:00am and 1:00pm. Tuesday games will be played at 10:00am and the Championship will take place on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:00am.There are no admission charges to the tournament

Middlesex Junior Baseball Division Places 3rd in District Tournament. Registration Dates and Times Dates: Saturdays, February 7, 14 & 28 ~ March 7, 2009 Location: Middlesex High School Gym. Time: 8:45 to 3:00 . Dates: Saturdays, February 7 & 14, 2009 Location: Middlesex Elementary School Gym. Time: 10:00 to 12:00 Registration fees are $40.00 for 1 child, $10.00 for the 2nd child and $5.00 for each additional child. Registrations after March 7th will be held and placed on teams if space is available. Financial aid forms are available upon request. No child turned away. Volunteer forms are available upon request. . If your child has not participated before, please bring a copy of your child's Birth Certificate for registration. Spring Training 2009

District 15 Umpires Annual Meeting and Dinner Date: February 22, 2009 Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm Location: VFW Building, Warsaw, Richmond County Purpose: This event is for all Umpires who are members of District 15 Umpires Association and their families. Where: Ann's Diner, Route 17 at Glenns When: Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 Time: 5:00pm to 9:00pm Cost: $10.00 Dinner will include a heaping of Spaghetti, garden salad, garlic bread and your choice of tea, lemonade or water.Tryout for Team Placement Date: March 28, 2009 Time: Times vary for each age group. See chart below. Location: Middlesex County Sports Complex Purpose: Tryouts for all players from Machine Pitch up. Players who were on Major League teams last year and are returning to the Major Leagues do not need to participate in Try-outs. All other Players are required to participate for Team placement. Times: Field 2 - Minor Boys (9-10yrs) 9:00-10:30 A.M. Field 3 - Machine Pitch (7-8 yrs) 9:00-10:30 A.M. Field 4 - Minor Girls (9-10) 9:00-10:30 Field 2 - Major Boys (11-12 yrs) 11:00-12:30 Field 3 - Jr. Boys (13-14 yrs) 11:00 -12:30 Field 4 - Major Girls (11-12) 11:00-12:30 Field 1 – Jr./ Sr. Girls (13-16 yrs)) 11:00 -12:30 Players are asked to bring a glove-tennis shoes or cleats - bat is optional. Note: Major Boys Division members (11-12 yrs) already on an assigned team from last year will not have to tryout this year. ***************************************************** Players may request to try-out one Division up or down. See guidelines and Applications in the "Handout" menu. All tryouts are at the Middlesex Sports Complex and will be conducted in a timely fashion. Upon arrival locate your Player Agent as listed in the "Board" menu. Opening Day Ceremonies Date: April 18, 2009 Time: 3:00pm to 4:00pm Location: Middlesex County Sports Complex, Field 2 Purpose: Opening Day Ceremonies will begin at 3:00PM. All players are to be at the Complex by 2:30PM for organization and placement on the field. Games will be scheduled following the conclusion of the Ceremonies. Mandatory Coaches Meeting TBA ~ Date not set yet Date: April 14, 2008 Time: 7:00pm to 8:30pm Location: Tom Carter Gym, Cooks Corner School Board Complex Event: As required by Little League, MCLL will host a mandatory Coaches Meeting. This meeting will cover Field maintenance, Safety and Sports Complex Rules and Little League Rule changes. |
