Attention Athletes! Join the BEST non-travel volleyball program in South Florida! Tryouts for our Training Program are mandatory. Be sure to attend the correct tryout in October or November. Contact Director Katie Moon with questions:

WHO: All athletes ages 12U-15U.

WHAT: Non-travel volleyball training program.

WHERE: The Student Activity Center at Westminster Christian School. 6855 SW 152 St. SAC located on 67 ave side of campus.

WHEN: January-April, two practices each week. Schedules will be posted in Calendar tab.

WHAT TO EXPECT: A FUN, competitive volleyball atmosphere! Our Gold Medal Squared Certified coaching staff will emphasize proper technique and fundamentals. A typical practice session will include conditioning, teaching all volleyball skills, drills, games, individual and team concepts. Under an organized, competition-based system, everyone will be pushed to perform at their highest level possible.

PROGRAM COST: $1,100 divided into 2 payments, including a $100 non-refundable deposit. Payment Information tab for payment schedule details. Athletes who join late are required to pay the full amount. 

COST INCLUDES: Four months of training, coaches salaries, gym rental, equipment costs, insurance, UnderArmour gear - kneepads, socks, 2 practice shirts, spandex, bag.

1. Does everyone who did not make a travel team participate in the Training Program (TP)? We have asked many athletes to participate but understand that many talented players will choose to compete on a travel team at a different club. 

2. Will my daughter progress as much by participating in the TP vs. competing on a travel team with a different club? At Miami Elite we strive to provide the very best instruction for all skills at every age and talent level. 90% of our coaching staff is Gold Medal Squared Certified, so every athlete is receiving the same instruction and feedback from 1st-12th grades.

- We had several athletes make a travel team this season who particiapted in the TP last season.

- There is a definite value to competing in tournaments if the coaching and program is improving the athlete.

3. How will the players in the TP be divided? Athletes will be divided by talent level to ensure that everyone is being challenged to perform at their highest level.

4. How is the TP structured? With every team (travel and training) at every age group, we start at the beginning with technique and fundamentals. It is important for all players to understand that when perfect technique is PRIORITY, results will take care of itself.

- Coaches will evaluate the skill levels and divide players accordingly.

- Season runs from January to April; 2-hour practices twice a week.

- Practice schedules posted at least a month in advance.

- There will be days of games and skill-work as well as a structured variety of inter-squad tournament play.

5. Is there a possibility to move up from the TP to a travel team? Yes. If a spot opens up on a travel team, coaches will evaluate all players to fill the vacancy.
