WELCOME to the Marina High School cheer site!
Marina is located in Huntington Beach, California. Our cheerleaders cheer at football and basketball games and support all other athletics as well. We compete annually for the State Championships as well as USA Nationals and the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida.
School mascot: Vikings School colors: Columbia blue, navy, and gold
TEAM PHILOSOPHY: Marina High School's Cheer Squads have the primary responsibility for spirit, pride, and dignity. They must be committed to the highest level of performance, self-discipline, respect for the school, teamwork, and personal exemplary conduct. They are dedicated to promoting enthusiasm, spirit, and unity to promote a positive winning attitude through example to EVERY athlete, student, teacher, and staff member at Marina. Monday, March 26 2012-2013 Cheer Squad Squad Tryout Results There is a mandatory parent meeting for all 2012-2013 squad members at MHS room 222 on Monday, May 7th. Varsity Cheer 6pm, JV Cheer 6:30pm. Each cheerleader must have a parent/guardian prensent at this meeting or they may forfeit their spot on the team. If you did not make a squad for the 2012-2013 year, your deposit check will be mailed back to your home address you provided on your application within the week. We encourage you to continue to improve your cheer and tumbling skills, and your academics and tryout again next year.

Hard copies will be available at the meeting on 4/2 and from the MHS receptionist in the front office after 4/2. 4th Annual Marina Cheerleader Calendar
The MHS cheerleaders will be selling their annual calendars this September. The calendars come preprinted with important MHS dates and events. Get your calendar from any cheerleader on campus or at the Varsity/JV/freshmen football games. Calendars will also be for sale at Back to School Night on October 5th! Wednesday, April 27
