A record group of nearly 350 participants showed up for a super 12th annual Milford High School Cross Country Boosters Reindeer Stampede 5K & 1-mile walk. Congratulations go out to overall male & female winners, Marshall Hawkins (16:46) and Leeann Seiwell (19:48). The University of Delaware runners and CR grads set new course records.

CR grad Marshall Hawkins (17:11) and Sussex Tech freshman Bethany Killman (22:40) won the top individual male and female honors Saturday, Nov. 28 at the 11th annual MHSCC Boosters Reindeer Stampede 5K run/walk and 1-mile walk at Milford Millponds Nature Preserve.

A big thank you goes out to the 250-plus folks who participated in the Milford High School Cross Country Boosters 10th annual Reindeer Stampede 5K run/walk held Saturday, Nov. 29 at the new Milford Millponds Nature Preserve.
Kyle Luke won the overall award with a 17:31, while Elizabeth Paul scored the top female trophy in a new course-record time of 19:33.
The MHSCC teams much appreciated all the people and sponsors in the Milford community who helped to make the event a success.

The MHS Cross Country Boosters 8th annual Reindeer Stampede 5K boasted another successful running with a record crowd of about 250 participants. Dover High grad Kevin Kemmerle won the race with a 16:57, while Danielle Riley of Lake Forest won the top female honors with a 20:51.
The MHSCC Boosters Club, a collection of volunteer parents, alumni, and friends, help coordinate the event which usually occurs the first Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Nearly 120 competitors participated in the Milford High School Cross Country Boosters third annual Reindeer Stampede 5K and 1.5-mile walk Saturday, Nov. 24.
Delaware State freshman Matt Gordineer ran a 17:27 to win the overall male award, while Caesar Rodney senior and Division I state champion Jill Hajec won the overall female award, finishing 12th with a 19:49.

2000 REINDEER STAMPEDE 5K RESULTS
The second annual Reindeer Stampede 5K Caesar Rodney High's Matt Gordineer set a new course record of 16:44 while Milford's own Jessi Rivera won the Fastest Female trophy with a 21:02 to lead Nearly 100 participants Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000.
The Ski Team of Gordineer, Greg Whitton, Matt Lindell, Mike Shroeder, Jeremy Dobrinski, Cole Pavlik and Eric Fitzpatrick scored first-place team medals.
A big thank you goes out to the sponsors (more than 30) and runners/walkers that helped generate about $2,000 for the MHSCC Boosters.

SINGER, EISCH TAKE OVERALL TITLES AT BARNYARD BIATHLON
Solists Adam Singer and Karla Eisch roared through the 5K run-12-mile bike-5K run at the Barnyard Biathlon held during the Land & Sea Harvest Festival in Milford on Sept. 29 to claim overall titles. Ol' Bloomie and Uncle Vern finished second overall and won the Male relay division, while the Morris tandem of dad Mike and daughter Brittany scored a win in the Mixed relay.
MHSCCer Keith Short, who teamed with fellow MHSCCer Joey Palumbo to take third in the Male relay, got the early lead for his team, but Singer and Ol' Bloomie caught Palumbo early on the bike course.
Singer and Bloomie dueled until the drawbridge opened on the last mile of the course where Mike Morris also rolled in on the bike. The three then made a quick sprint to the next run. Once on the course, Vern couldn't hang with the dominant Singer who won in a 1:15.21, just over a minute ahead of the VernCzars' 1:16.26.
Congrats go out to Short and Palumbo for their improved time of 1:22.52, as well as Lindsay Kenton and Chris Demby who took second in Mixed relays with a 1:29.37. Amy Mallamo and David Nixdorf cruised along for a third place finish with a 1:46.02.
Volunteer coach Brandi Bougher and her hubbie, Jason, each took first in their age groups, while Milfordians Gifford King, Michael Firch and Bill Creasey scored trophies as well.
A special thanks goes out to the fire police and all MHSCC Booster parents, including those who helped sell a hundred-plus cups of fruit at the festival. What a great day to have fun and run!
