Man, it's been so long since I've seen all of you! I hope you all are still carrying on the pasta party traditions and enjoying the long, grueling practices that one day you'll look back on and appreciate. | A big shout out to all my peeps on the teams from '91-'94: yo,yo,yo. We did it in the woods back in those days, kids - Woodshaven. (For all my fans out there, that's where I ran the 8th fastest 5K.) That's where we were shot at by hunters, took many a duece in the woods, got bloody when a fight broke out during the Lake Forest match and all fell out with laughter many a time. I especially remember the day Elvis came to our sacred woods. That was some of the hardest laughing I've ever done. Joe MacDonald was our coach and a great guy. How many coaches get wedgies from the boys team and not punish the team?! Peace out, stay tan and for the sake of your knees, don't run any more. |
