Friday, August 1
Practice starts...

Practice for all divisions starts on August 11th.  All Junior Varsity players report early to start practice at 4:30.  Other divisions typically start later.  Players only wear helmets, football shoes, practice jerseys, and flags (for flag).  Shorts are optional.  Bring at least one two liter of water or sports beverage.

This year has only three weeks of practice before the first game instead of four.



Friday, August 1
Ticket money due

All ticket money is due to Lisa Pastula, Fundraising Coordinator.  Money is due the week of August 18th, 2008.  If your child does not fulfill their responsibility and sell their tickets you must pay $50.00 for the fundraiser as it is part of their registration fee.  Please make check payable to M.H.L.F.L.

You can contact Lisa at Huffman Park field Mon. thru Fri. 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.  When the season begins.  Her number used for questions is 248-541-1498

money due

This is a reminder that Football Mania tickets and money are due August 15th, which is the end of the first week of practice.  Please see Jeff Hilliard or Rob Wilkinson if you have any questions.

Football Mania tickets are year long parlay cards with about a $20 face value.  These are not the raffle tickets given to each player.

Family Picnic
There will be a family picnic after a short practice on August 13th.  This picnic is at the practice field and will have food and inflatable rides.  Players and player families are welcome.  No fee is charged for this event.
