Millbrook Girls Softball League: MGSL Spring Season Divisions

Ages: 4,5 & 6 please no 3 yr. olds. You must be 4 by Dec 31st of the prior year.
For girls between the ages of 4 & 6. We have both coach pitch and t-ball combined in this age division. All girls will receive at least 3 pitches from the coach pitcher. After receiving 3 pitches from the coach, girls younger than 5 will have the ball placed on the Tee for an additional two attempt to put the ball into play.
8 & Under
Ages 7&8

Modified Playing Rules:
A. Length of games shall be 1hr. & 15mins. or 5 innings whichever occurs first.
B. There shall be perpetual batting.
C. All players must play at least 2 complete innings of defense.
E. 8 & Under will play 2 innings of coach pitch and the remainder of the game player pitch. After 4 walks in an inning, the pitcher will be replaced by the coach pitcher for the remainder of the inning.
10 & Under

Ages: 8,9 & 10
To move up to this age division you must have played at least one year in the 8 & Under Division.
Modified Playing Rules:
A. Length of games shall be 1 hr.& 15 minutes or 5 innings, whichever occurs first.
B. There shall be perpetual batting.
C. All players must play at least 2 complete innings of defense.
D. 10 & under play 3 outs and player pitch only.
E. Stealing of bases is allowed in the age division.
F. Base runners can steal one base per pitch
but under no circumstance can they still home.Base runners are subject to being put out if they are occupying a base that they are not entitled.
Run rules are 12,10 & 8 after 3,4 and 5 innings of play.
12 & Under
Ages 10,11-12

18 & Under

Ages: 15 through 18 as of Dec. 31st
