Manchester Girls Softball League is proud to sponsor the Manchester Vipers All Star Team
The Manchester Girls Softball League is proud to sponsor the Manchester Vipers which is an U-10 All star team. This year we are looking to add an U-12 Vipers team to our successful U-10 Vipers program.
Our U-10 team last year was filled with some wonderful players, we look forward to having them back again this year. Some changes will be that we are looking into different tournaments next year to try to play teams on a similar level as our own. Our team's goal is to have fun while continuing to build on the fundamentals the girls learn during league play. We will be looking to play 3 tournaments during the summer. Practices and games will not interfere with league play.
We are currently looking for additional players who would like to play on the Vipers Teams. The minimum age is 9. Players can be a maximum of 10 years old as of Jan. 1, 2012 to play on the U-10 teams and a maximum of 12 years old on Jan. 1, 2012 to play in U-12.. In simple terms, as long as you are 12 or UNDER on Jan 1, 2012, You are eligible to play on a Vipers Team.
===============
We have put together a group of 12 clinics throughout the winter leading us into next spring. We are inviting anyone who would like to play for either Vipers Team to join us for our clinics. There are twelve dates which are listed below. The Viper's team will hold tryouts in early spring.
Clinics will be held at "Play the Game" a new indoor softball practice facility at 8051 South Willow Street in Manchester.
The cost for the clinics is $60 for all 12 clinics. If you would like to pay in full up front it is $50, If you would like to pay monthly it is $20 per month for 3 months.
It is important to know if you can or can not come as we need to have ample coaches and assistants available for the number of girls attending. We will be able to practice batting as well as fielding, pitching and catching. It will be geared to be a fun time for the girls.

Each clinic day is a Thursday.
VIPERS PRACTICE IS 7-8pm (please be ready to start at 7pm promptly) and it will end promptly at 8pm as i know it is a school night.

Disclaimer and fine print:
Our goal is to have girls interested in playing on the Vipers teams attend our clinics, by attending clinics you are not committed to playing on the team if your girl chooses not to play. In the event more than 14 girls are interested in each team, we will have a tryout in early spring. Attending clinics does not guarantee a spot but will certainly help your daughter by teaching fundamentals and increasing awareness of the sport.
Thank You
Scott Godzyk
