The Mountain Gap Middle School Girls Basketball team will play Ed White Middle School in the first round of the Huntsville City Tournament on Tuesday (26th January 2010).  We will play at Ed White and game time is 3:30pm.  The winner of this game will play again on Thursday (28th January 2010) in the big gym at Huntsville High School at 6:30PM.

The Mountain Gap Middle School Boys Basketball team will play Huntsville Middle School in the first round also on Tuesday (26th January 2010).  The game will be played on our home court with a start time of 5:30PM.  Winner of this game will play again on Thursday (28th January 2010) in the small gym at Huntsville High School at 6:30PM.

The Championship game for the girls is scheduled for Saturday (30th January 2010) at 5:30PM on the big court at Huntsville High School.  The Championship game for the boys is scheduled for Saturday (30th January 2010) on the big court at Huntsville High School at 7:30PM.

We will be playing in the Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament at Erwin High School located in Center Point, Alabama.  Our first game is on Saturday (26 Dec 09) at 11:30AM against Forest Hill in Arena 1.   We will play two games on Monday (28 Dec 09), one at 3:30pm against Holy Family and one at 7:30pm against Rudd.  If we place in the top two of our pool we will qualify to play in the Winner's Bracket that will be conducted on Tuesday.

Admission is $6.00/adult and $4.00/student per day.  Children 7-under are free.

Basketball tryouts for the 2009-2010 Season will be held in October on the following dates:

Girls

October 13th, 14th and 15th

3:15 - 4:30 PM

Boys

October 21st, and 23rd

3:15 - 4:45 PM

October 22nd

4:45 - 6:00 PM

All players must have a current AHSAA physical form on file at Mountain Gap to tryout.  Questions, contact Coach G.
