The Mississauga Girls Softball Association (MGSA) is an umbrella organization that provides a venue for young ladies in Mississauga to play competitive house league softball. Through our member leagues, we provide fastpitch softball for players from age 8 to age 22, from Mite to Midget.

MGSA member leagues include Erindale Lions, Mississauga Majors, Mississauga North Tigers and Mississauga Southwest Hurricanes. We interlock with two Toronto organizations, Etobicoke Girls Softball, and Martingrove.  In the Midget division,  we also interlock with teams from the Oakville Girls Softball Association (OGSA).  

2010 Registration:

Our member associations will soon begin registering for the 2010 season. For more information on how and where to register, please email us at mgsa@live.ca with your name, age, and your street name, we will forward you to the closest member association.

2009 Winners:

Our season is now complete. Thanks for the tireless efforts of all our volunteers, umpires, and coaches. Most of all, thanks to the girls and ladies who play the game. Hope to see you all back in 2010!

2009 Softball Canada Lightning Guideline:

The plate umpire will immediately suspend the game if he or she hears thunder within 30 seconds of seeing a lightning flash. The umpire will not resume the game until 30 minutes have passed with no lightning followed by thunder within 30 seconds.
