| After exchanging emails today with Coach Kelly from Mississauga Majors 305 I came to the realization that what has gone on for the last couple nights should be documented for all to see. It is one of the highlights of my time playing and coaching sports. My 308 Tigers went into last game of the season on Thursday night against Chris Lewis's 309 3rd place Tigers. We had tied each other 8 all earlier in the season. All we needed was a tie to clinch first but oh no, they had to go beat us 6-4. Forced us to play a "sudden Victory game" against Majors down at Crookes last night, a team we went 1-1 against in regular season. Lot's of spectators, great night, and 2 smoking hot pitchers. Abbey for us and Amanda for the Majors. Ended tied after 7 after going back and forth. We had won coin flip so we were home team in Majors turf. Felt weird being on 3rd base side. Nevertheless, we took it in the 2nd extra inning of international tiebreaker. Crash on 2nd got sacrificed up to 3rd by Blondie and then hit home by Weezy. The most important thing in all of this though was the friendship and respect both of these teams of girls have for each other. We really look forward to playing them again, either in the playoffs or our end of season tournament. Great job ladies and thanks for the entertainment. |

| Thank You to President Paul Carriere and the rest of the members of MGSA for having the Tigers join with you for the 2007 season. Girls had a great time, made some new friends, played in some new parks, and played some great ball. Looking forward to an even better 2008. Girls, get out to your local association and sign up soon. You DO NOT want to miss this!!! |

| you have on the Martingrove site that girls softball championship is "unknown" in 1993 and 1994 well i was on that team ...it's rexdale girls softball and we kicked ass ... so there you go REXDALE champs 1993 and 1994 ...get it right!!! p.s anyone who thinks I'm wrong must have lost to us bad!! you know who you are |
