Saturday, June 28 Updated Tournament Brackets, Extended T-Ball Schedule and Survey Now Available
The Updated Tournament Brackets that reflect the changes due to the storm shortened games from 7/3 are now posted in the "Handouts Section". The extended T-Ball season games are now posted under the "Schedules Section". The MFLL Survey is now available on this website under the "Handouts Section" also. If you did not get a survey form from your coaches, you can now download the forms here on the website, and the forms can be mailed in or deposited in the mail slot to the rear of the lower concession stand, or dropped in the drive-up mailbox just south of the lower parking lot as you leave the complex. Good luck to all the teams as the 2008 Tournament resumes!!!
Bring the Family and Some Friends!!! Wednesday, May 28 BB-Majors Brewers Found Innocent!! MFLL BB-Majors Brewers have been found innocent by a Little League Tribunal for using additional defensive players in the field against the Orioles on Tuesday May 27th. In a counter claim, the Orioles were found innocent of trying to use additional "Ducks on the Pond". The Tribunal also squashed the claim that when a ball got hit to the outfield, everyone "ducked". The game continued, and everything turned out just "Ducky". Sunday, April 27 Help Wanted!! - S.W.A.T. Team!!

Fifteen people are needed to respond when we have emergency Monday, May 5 Don't Forget!!! Raffle Ticket Sales - Until June 14th. Tuesday, December 18 Volunteer Hours Revisited Over the past few seasons we’ve been experimenting and evaluating what works best for families and volunteer hours. We sat down and determined how many hours it takes to run this Little League and how many families there are to help out. We concluded there are enough hours to ask families with one child to contribute 6 hours; families with two children to contribute 8 hours; families with three or more children to contribute 10 hours. We have also listened to your feedback, realizing that it is sometimes difficult to know where and when to volunteer. To help with that, we have created a new board position called Volunteer Coordinator. At registration you will find a listing of all volunteer opportunities and descriptions of them to see what will work best for you. This information will also be posted on the MFLL website. The volunteer coordinator will be your contact for more information on volunteer opportunities as well as signing you up for those opportunities. Please direct any questions you have to Heather Fieldhack, 414-526-4342 or heatherlee823@yahoo.com. Tuesday, December 18 Background Check Forms for All All parents/guardians are being asked to complete the Volunteer Application Form (background check form). According to the National Little League, we must obtain a completed form and a copy of a driver’s license for anyone who has regular contact with the children. Since we are a 100% volunteer organization and all families are asked to volunteer time, for simplicity sake, we are asking that everyone complete the form. The form is available on-line at www.eteamz.com/mfll for you to complete ahead of time and bring to registration. We will also have blank forms and a copy machine on hand to make copies of ID’s. We must have at least one parent’s background check form accompany every registration form. |
