The tournament brackets for the in-house tournament have now been posted on the website. They can be found under the "Handouts" link on the left of this page. They should be updated by the next day. Good luck to all of the teams in the tournament. Have fun!!!

Volunteer Hours Revisited

Over the past few seasons we’ve been experimenting and evaluating what works best for families and volunteer hours. The board of directors determined how many hours it takes to run this Little League and how many families there are to help out. We concluded there are enough hours needed to ask families with one child to contribute 6 hours; families with two children to contribute 8 hours; families with three or more children to contribute 10 hours. We have also listened to your feedback, realizing that it is sometimes difficult to know where and when to volunteer. To help with that, we have a Volunteer Coordinator. The Volunteer Coordinator will post volunteer opportunities on the MFLL website, which can be found on the left side of the home page. Also check with your Team Parent for concession opportunities and with your coaches with any field preparation needs. The volunteer coordinator will be your contact for more information on volunteer opportunities as well as signing you up for those opportunities. Please remember to fill out a Volunteer Hours Form anytime that you do volunteer work. This form needs to be completely filled out and then signed by an event supervisor and turned in as soon after the event as possible. You will recieve an email confirmation within two weeks of turning in your form. The forms can be dropped in the mail slot on the east side of the lower concession stand, or dropped in the drive-up mailbox just to the south of the lower fields parking lot. If you do not get a confirmation email within the two week period, it is your responsiblility to turn in a new one. Forms can be obtained by printing them from the Handouts section on the home page of the website, or when the season starts, there will be a supply at the concession stands. New this year, no Volunteer Hours Forms will be accepted after December 31st. There will be no exceptions to this rule, as that database is closed out, and a new one in place to start the new registration season. Thank you in advance for volunteering. Have a great season.
