We all have a responsability to promote high standards of behaviour in the game we must all ensure football can be enjoyed by everyone in a safe and posetive enviroment

Mexborough FC Expect All 
Players Officals and Parents to follow these codes of conduct at all times 

 

 

Players

On and off the field I will:

Do my best even if we are loosing and the other team is stronger.
Play fairly I won't cheat,complain or waste time.
Never be rude to my team mates, the other team, the referee, spectators, coach/manager.

Do what the referee tells me.

Shake hands with the referee & the other team at the end of a game.
Listen to my coach/team manager and respect what he/she says.
Talk to someone I trust. e.g. my parents or the club welfare officer If I am unhappy about anything at my club.

 



Friday, November 10

          Spectators/Parents/Carers

Remain outside the field of play and behind the designated spectator area.
Never engage in or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour.
Always respect the match officials decisions.

          Applaud effort and good play as well as success.

In Addition when attending Youth games I will:

Remember that children play for fun.

Let the coaches do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do.

Encourage the players to respect the opposition and match officials.

Never criticise a player for making a mistake mistakes are part of learning.





Friday, November 10

          Coaches / Managers/ Club Officials

Show respect  to others involved in the game including match officials.

Adhere to the laws of the game.

Display and promote high standards of behaviour.

Always respect the match official's decisions.

Never enter the field of play without the referees permission.

Never engage in public critisism of the match officials. 

When working with players I will:

Place the well being ,safety and enjoyment of each player above everything including winning.

Explain exactly what I expect of players and what they can expect of me.

Ensure the Parents/Carers of all players under the age of 18 understand these expectations.

Refrain from and refuse to tolerate any form of bullying.

Develop mutual trust and respect with every player to build their self esteem.

Encourage each player to accept responsability for their own performance.

Ensure that all activities I organise are appropriate for the players ability level, experience age and maturity.

Cooperate fully with others in football eg officials, doctors physiotherapists,welfare officers for each players best interests.



Saturday, November 10

          Disiplinary 

Managers/coaches/players and spectators must abide by FA/Sheffield & Hallamshire girls county league and club codes of conduct.

Any breach of club rules/policies or code of conduct by a player or spectator will be in the first instance dealt with by the manager/coach or CPO.

If they are unable to resolve the situation the matter will be passed in writing to the club secretary for the committees attention.

All matters concerning breaches of club rules/policies or codes of conduct by managers, coaches, child protection officers are to be made to the club secretary in writing, within 3 days of the incident taking place.

Any person so reported will be automatically suspended from duties and will be informed in writing by the club secretary immediatly upon reciept of the complaint.

The suspension will last until an emergency meeting of the club committee, to be held within 7 days of receipt of the complaint.

Any matter concerning the expulsion of a member from the club must be considered at a committee meeting where a minimum of two thirds of the committee are present.

Anti Discrimination 
Mexborough F.C. 

          Will not discriminate or in any way treat anyone less favourably on the grounds of

sex/sexual orientation

race/nationality ethnic origin,

colour/religion or disability.

This includes advertisments for volunteers,or the selection of candidates for the following.

External coaching or educational courses or awards.
Football development activities.
Selection for teams ( in accordance with current FA rules on gender )
Appointments to honourary positions.

The club will not tolerate sexually or rascist based harrasment or other discriminatory behaviour.

The club will work to ensure that such behaviour is met with the appropriate action in whatever context it occurs.

The club is also committed to the development of the programme of ongoing training and awareness raising events and activities in order to promote the eradication of discrimination within its own organisation and in the wider context of football as a whole.

          Child Protection 

Mexborough F.C.

Will provide children with enjoyment within a football enviroment, we will ensure that their Physical, Mental and Social Welfare is our paramount priority.

We will provide a list of procedures and club rules for parents/guardians/spectators and children. 

We will provide procedures for anyone with Child Protection Concerns to follow and ensure each age group has a Child Protection Officer.

The club will provide opportunity for anyone to attend child protection courses and provide a Club Welfare Officer for both Boys & Girls sections to oversee the Clubs Child Protection Policy and advise the age group C.P.Os on changes in the FA Child Protection Policy. 

We will ensure any incident of child abuse is reported to the appropriate authorities, and ensure a different club officer is available if the person causing the abuse is the C.P.O.

The Club will ensure any club member involved in coaching or who has an involvement with children is registered with the Sheffield & Hallamshire Child Protection Register, and has had the appropriate FA CRB checks.

We will ensure that bulling by children or adults will not be tolerated in any form within the club,
and that all Health and Safety procedures are applied when setting up equipment for matches and training sessions.
