Varsity Boys Finish 2nd at Nationals
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys team for taking 2nd place in Division 2 at the National Homeschool Championship Tournament in Fort Wayne, IN. The guys battled weather, injuries, forgotten equipment, and tough competition. The championship game was a real nail-biter that went to a shoot-out. We're looking forward to some re-matches next year.

Varsity Girls Take 3rd at Nationals
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls for finishing 3rd at the National Homeschool Championship Tournament in Fort Wayne, IN. They held their own through stiff competition, illness and dirt in the eye. The cool, wet weather only added to the excitement. This tournament was a great way to end the season.

6 Metro United Players Elected to All-Star National Team
Congratulations to Nelson Applegate (8th grade), Carter Eiden (senior), Erik Swanson (senior), Rachel Walmsley (8th grade), Sarah Walmsley (freshman), and Kirsten Whitney (freshman) for their election to the National Homeschool All-Star team! They were recognized in the closing ceremony, along with other top players, on Sunday afternoon. Metro United was among the best-represented teams with the max 3 players each from both the boys' and girls' teams. Way to go Metro United!
