WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE METRO BOWL FOOTBALL ALLIANCE!
The Metro Bowl Football Alliance is now a cooperative of four leagues with one goal....the winner gaining a bid in the USFA/NFE National Championship game.
The Participating leagues are the RAFL, IFL, MAFL, and EFA. On November 6th 2010, the RAFL Champion will play the MAFL Champion while the IFL Champion will square off against the EFA Champion.
The winners will Play November 13th in the Metro Bowl Championship with the winner advancing to the USFA/ NFE National Championship game in January.

Alliance Roster Rules- All Leagues must submit thier teams rosters by Labor Day. Teams are allowed to carry up to 65 players with 55 active. All Players must carry a state or federal I.D. to every game after Labor Day in case of a roster check
Metro Bowl Tournament Rules
- Metro Bowl Teams are allowed to add up to five players for post season tournament play
- Teams are allowed to carry up to 65 players with 55 active
- Local games can be played day or night on any weekend day but if a team is traveling more than 150 miles the game must be played at night and hosting team must provide a place to change for visiting team
- Hosting teams are required to provide 20lbs of ice and 25 gallons of water to the visiting teams (Running water is separate)
Metro bowl Champions
Any team which wins the Metro bowl championship has the right to host the following year’s championship game regardless of home/loss record as compared with other teams in the tournament.
- Win/Loss does count prior to the championship game and previous years champ is subject to travel to teams with a better record until the championship game as long as they make it
- If the previous year’s champs are not in the Metro Bowl Tournament the team with the best overall record will host the championship game
New Amended rule updated 6/1/11
- Metro Bowl Alliance Members are not allowed to add players during the tournament play but are allowed to add 3 – 5 players for the NFE Title game in Florida
- The addition of players to a team in the tournament now only applies to Metro Bowl 2 tournament teams
Metro Bowl, USFA & National Football Events
National Football Events is pleased to announce that the Metro Bowl has become a member of the USFA National Championship Series . This quality regional tournament will be known as the USFA Metro Bowl .
The winner of the USFA Metro Bowl will receive an invitation to a National Championship Game on National Bowl Weekend in Fort Pierce, Florida .
The USFA Metro Bowl will be available to all playoff bound teams in the Mid Atlantic region .
