WELCOME TO THE METROPOLITAN OVAL
The Metropolitan Oval is the oldest soccer field in continuous use in the United States. Many of the country's greatest players played there at some time. Today, the Oval is operated by the Metropolitan Oval Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to youth soccer (U-23 and younger) in New York City.
The Metropolitan Oval Foundation's expenses and costs of improvements still exceed its revenues. Donations are tax-deductible. Please be a friend of soccer and contribute. If you are interested in making a contribution, monetary or otherwise, please let us know.
