You may also register on one of our signup dates. The 1st signup date is Saturday, January 28th, from 9 am - 12 noon at East Hills Mall near the food court. The 2nd signup date is Saturday, February 18th, from 12 noon - 3 pm at the same location.

League Information:
Midland Empire Sports Association Planning Dugout Renovations at Drake/South Park Complex (information courtesy of Dan Hockaday, submitted by Chuck Kempf)...
Over the past several months, Midland Empire Sports Association (MESA), the governing body of girls softball in St. Joseph has been working on plans to renovate the dugouts at the Drake/South Park complex, a city-owned facility, used by MESA to operate their summer and fall softball leagues. To help fund this project, MESA intends on applying for a Royalty Fields grant through the Royals Charities organization.
Final stamped architectural drawings and documents for dugout renovations at Drake/South Park softball fields were submitted to city staff on January 4. City engineer Roger Sparks has been working with MESA over the past few months to insure the proper steps are taken to complete this project. While city staff reviews the project documents, MESA officials will be finalizing the grant application, which can’t be completed until the project is approved and the official materials list is confirmed.
Editor’s Note: MESA league sign-ups for the 2012 season are upcoming. Dates and locations for registration can be found at www.stjoesoftball.com. There is also an option for on-line registrations on the same website.
