Senior Night Announced for January 21
Senior Night has been changed to Saturday January 21st before the game against North Royalton. A pre-game celebration will be held in the Gallery area of Hoover Arena starting at 6pm. Please make sure you let Kim Guarnera know how many family members will be attending the party. See you there!

Medina Alumni Square Off Locally
Heading into 2012, several recent graduates of the Medina Bees Hockey Club will be taking the ice as collegiate opponants. Many parents have asked about the upcoming schedules for these players for the games that will be played locally. Here is a quick snapshot of who is playing when:

All games will be held at Center Ice Sports Complex in Canton (home rink of the Akron Zips and Jackson Bears of the NCHSHL)
Each of these players has a younger brother currently on the Medina Bees roster and each of them would certainly enjoy the support of family and friends as they compete.

Bees Host Annual Alumni Game
The current Medina Bees team will look to put the sting to their predecessors on Wednesday, December 21 as they host (graciously I'm sure) the alumni in a "friendly" competition. Come out and celebrate the tradition that has become Medina Bees Hockey!

Team Pictures Scheduled 12/7/11
Team pictures will be taken at practice on Wednesday, 12/7 at the ice rink. Please make sure to bring your green uniforms!

Bees Successfully Defend Turkey Bowl Championship
Despite graduating 10 seniors off of the 2010-2011 squad that captured the Cleveland Junior Jack's Turkey Bowl Championship last season, the new youthful team of 2011-2012 was able to come together early to defend the crown defeating Riverside in the final in a shootout. For consecutive seasons, Medina has been pitted against Riverside, a perenial division rival, in the championship game of the Turkey Bowl, and has now twice denied them the prize. Brad Herbert was honored after the game as the Tournament's Top Goalie and T.J. Galvin as the Tournament's Top Forward. Congrats to the Bees for bringing home the hardware for the second year in a row!

Medina Hockey Parent Meeting
There will be a parent meeting for all Medina Hockey families immediately preceding the game on Saturday 10/29 against Newark to be held in the Studio Rink meeting room at 3:30 p.m.
Players - Do not forget your warm-ups, jump ropes, and green jerseys!

It's Time for Hockey!
Ice Practices are now scheduled for two (2) sessions in September and four (4) sessions in October. Althought these practices are optional, it is strongly recommended that players attend.
