Welcome to the Mechanicsville Little League website. The website is to give you information about MLL. Our Complex is located at 7631 Walnut Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA. 23111. Our goal is to provide the best possible baseball and softball experience for the children in our area. Mechanicsville Little League owns and operates our facility. All monies taken in through registration costs, sponsorships, advertising, and Bingo efforts are reinvested into the baseball and softball programs and the facility. Over the years this facility has grown to operate ten fields for baseball and softball.

The Junior All Star team has completed their play at the Junior League World Series and finished 7th place in the world.&nbsp; However, the team is Number 1 in our eyes.&nbsp; They played and acted like Champions throughout this tournament and all tournaments preceding this.&nbsp; We would like to congratulate them on everything they accomplished and how they represented MLL in the National/World spotlight.&nbsp; Great jobs guys!!!

The Junior Baseball All Star team completed their quest to win&nbsp;Southeast Regional title on Tuesday,&nbsp;August 10th against&nbsp;Eberton&nbsp;Little League from Eberton Georgia&nbsp;with a final score of&nbsp;6-3.&nbsp; This is the FIRST team from MLL to win a Southeast Regional tournament.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;During the District and State tournaments, these boys outscored their opponents 192-14 and outscored their opponents in Regional play 39-16&nbsp;due to great preserverance, outstanding pitching, offense and defense.&nbsp; The boys are headed to the&nbsp;Junior World Series&nbsp;tournament in&nbsp;Taylor MI.&nbsp; We want to wish them GOOD LUCK and let them know that MLL is proud of their achievements this year.&nbsp;

The Mechanicsville Little League 9-10 year old girls softball team captured the 2010 Virginia State Championship today (July 21, 2010) in Yorktown Virginia.&nbsp; The Mechanicsville&nbsp;All Star team went undefeated in eight (8) games through district and state tournament play to capture the state title.&nbsp; They defeated Bridgewater Little League in the final game 9-2 to&nbsp;win the state championship.&nbsp; In (8) district/state tournament games they outscored opponents 92-7 in dominating fashion. Stellar pitching, team offense and defense by all players secured the title.

Here at MLL we take lightning seriously. When the first sign of lightning appears at MLL, the games are stopped and all players, coaches, parents, and fans must return to their cars. Did you know that Mechanicsville Little League runs Bingo?&nbsp; On Thursday Nights from 5pm - 10:30pm, MLL volunteers work Bingo.&nbsp; MLL is the only Little League in the area who provides this entertainment.&nbsp; The income from Bingo allows us to keep registration cost down.&nbsp; We also need volunteer workers to sell &quot;instant tickets&quot; during Bingo. Instant Tickets are sold for $1.00 per ticket. If you want to learn more about Bingo, contact Chuck Boyle at <a href="mailto:cbhokie24@aol.com">cbhokie24@aol.com</a>.

On Tuesday, Thursday,&nbsp;and Saturday the Bingo Lot is closed to the Little League until <strong><font color="#ff0000">7:30 P.M.</font></strong>&nbsp; On Saturday, all Little League cars must be out of the Bingo Lot by&nbsp;<strong><font color="#ff0000">12 P.M</font></strong>. If you have a game at&nbsp;1 P.M. or later, please park in the grass parking lot by fields 1,2,and 3.&nbsp; If you have a Handicap License plate or an official Handicap sign, you can park in the Bingo Lot. Bingo provides MLL with&nbsp;the&nbsp;majority of the funds needed to operate the&nbsp;Complex, equipment and helps keep your registration fees down. &nbsp;

					The Mechanicsville area is growing every day.  If you or know someone who owns a business in the area, MLL is the place to advertise. Each spring MLL has over 2000 people coming in and out of the complex on a weekly basis. Each field has signs displayed on the outfield fence.  These displays will help support the business and also help MLL. The designs are created by the business. This year we have 2 fields that advertising is available on the scoreboards.  Every time a person looks at the scoreboard during the game, the business will be noticed.  The cost is $2000 per scoreboard and must be renewed for 5 years.  The advertising forms are found in the Handout section. If you would like to order a sign or have further questions, please contact Ben Pully at 730-7841.
