| 2009 12U AAU DII National Champions |
Welcome to Maryland United Sports Foundation (MUSF) where we provide tomorrow's leaders a chance to compete in AAU Basketball and Soccer. MUSF is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and a member of the Potomac Valley Amateur Athletic Union (PVAAU).
MUSF is anchored by volunteer parents and coaches devoted to providing girls and boys from 5th Grade - 12th Grade an opportunity to develop their basketball and soccer skills in a positive, competitive team environment.
History
MUSF was founded in February 2004 by Nathaniel Britt, Vernon Ramey and Melody Britt. It has grown to feature the MD United Lady Ballers (6 teams), MD United (2 boys), and DC Assault - Britt 12 Grade basketball teams. It offered the first boys soccer team, MD United Strikers in 2007. Please see AAU Grade Divisions at website http://image.aausports.org/dnn/boysbasketball/pdf/Petition-to-Play-Down-Form.pdf. Their vision is to establish basketball and soccer teams for every grade division in both genders.
The Board of Directors are President, Nathaniel Britt; Vice President, Vernon Ramey; Secretary/Treasurer, Melody Britt; Director of Boys Division, Joe Dobbins; Director of Girls Division, Johnny Watson; and Strength and Conditioning, Erik Chapman.
Our Mission
To Mentor and Unite the Scholars of our Future
Donations & Sponsorship
During this economic recession, MUSF donations and sponsors are more vital than ever before. Donations can be cash, goods and/or services. Sponsorships and/or donations to not-for-profit organizations allows for a tax deduction to the donor.
MUSF teams incur the expenses of uniforms, gym rental fees, tournament fees (local, regional & national), AAU fees, website, bank fees, liability insurance and tax filings. The yearly cost are partially met by MUSF registration and monthly individual fees as well as team fundraising events.
Sponsors will be recognized on the MUSF website and some team apparel. Unfortunately, AAU prohibits sponsor logos or insignia on team uniforms.
Please see our "Sponsor Form" in our "Handouts" section on the left side of the webpage.
Registration
Registration can be done at any of the MUSF practice sessions (see calendar above). Forms can be found in our "Handouts" section on the left side of the webpage. Please complete and give to your Team Coach, Team Manager or Team Mom. Do not hesitate to contact Coach Erik @ (301) 704-0448 or erik_chapman@msn.com with any questions.

| 10U 2010 Finish #13 at AAU DI Nationals |
The Lady Ballers played well for their first Nationals competition. They went 2-1 in pool play by defeating NJ-Jersey Shore Wildcats 49-42 and NC-Carolina Pacers 27-20. SO/LA-Kenner Angels, the eventual #3 team, beat us 37-25.
Championship Bracket pitted the girls against the MD-MD Sureshots who we defeated 31-30 in a nail biter. The next opponent was the defending national champions, GA-GA Pistols. The girls played hard against the much bigger and mature team but were eliminated from championship play. We had a chance to play for 9th place against the SE/TN-TN Select team but never recovered from the lost the day before.
Overall, the little ladies competed well, learned from their experience and now understand what is required to compete at that level. Go Lady Ballers!!
