The 2004 NAFL2 Champion Maryland Marauders released the schedule for the upcoming 2005 North American Football League season. The Marauders will play five home games in their ten game regular season. The season will begin on July 16th on the road against the Delaware Longhorns. The Marauders defeated the Longhorns in the 2004 NAFL2 Eastern Division Championship. The first home game will be against the DC Explosion on July 23rd at the Prince Georges Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, MD home field for the Marauders. The final regular season game will be at home against the Delaware Longhorns.
The 2005 season schedule is as follows:
July 16th @ Delaware Longhorns. Kickoff at 5:00pm in New Castle, Delaware (Eden Park)
July 23rd @ HOME against the DC Explosion. Kickoff at 7:30pm
July 30th @ VA Crimson Cardinals. Kickoff at 7:00pm in Lynchburg, VA (field to be announced)
August 6th @ Northern VA Sharks. Kickoff is 7:00pm in Woodbridge,VA (field to be announced)
August 13th @ HOME against the Bay Atlantic Sharks. Kickoff at 7:30pm
August 20th @ HOME against the Northern VA Sharks. Kickoff at 7:30pm
August 27th @ DC Explosion. Kickoff at 7:00pm in Washington, DC. (field to be announced)
September 3rd Bye Week.
September 10th @ HOME against Virginia Fury. Kickoff at 7:30pm
September 17th @ Bay Atlantic Sharks. Kickoff at 7:00pm (field to be announced)
September 24th @ HOME against the Delaware Longhorns. Kickoff at 7:30pm

The Maryland Marauders Minor League Football team seeks players who are dominant in their skill position, and seek a legitimate shot at next level play.
We will not sell you a "DREAM" you must work for it. Then and only then will our organization assist you. When you prove your commitment to the team, yourself and football, Our COMMITMENT is then 100% toward your upper level goals.
Players must be able walk the walk. We are a minor league team with major league goals.
We will mirror the NFL in conduct on and off the field, game film, sponsorship, coaching,
practices, conditioning, discipline, meetings
and community service.

Marauders Find A Home In Seat Pleasant
Seat Pleasant Mayor Eugene W. Grant hosted a press conference to announce a partnership agreement between the City of Seat Pleasant and the Maryland Marauders Minor League Football team. The Press Conference was held at Seat Pleasant City Hall on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 10:00 AM. The Marauders, the 2004 Champions of the North American Football League 2 (NAFL), signed with the City to become the official Football team for the City of Seat Pleasant: A City of Excellence. Marauders Place Six On All-American Team
Upper Marlboro, MD January 7, 2005: Six players from the 2004 NAFL2 Champion Maryland Marauders were named to the Minor League Football News Eastern Regional All-American Team. There was one offensive player and five defensive players honored. James Battle QB, Micheal Balogun MLB, Sean Chisley OLB, Roguell Blue DT, Will Purvis DE, David Wingate DE. Marauders Named Comeback Team Of The Year
