Of course all our volunteers are All-Stars. What we need are volunteers to help prepare and manage the All Star games this summer.
We all need to pitch in and volunteer to support the 9-10, 10-11, and Majors All-Star games. Below is a little more information on the time requirements and specifics for each volunteer position. Please use the website link to login and sign up where you can.
9-10 All Star Tournament at Mason District Park
- Sunday June 23 at 2 pm
- Tuesday June 25 at 7 pm
- Thursday June 27 at 7 pm
- Friday July 5 at 7 pm
- Monday July 8 at 7 pm
- Tuesday July 9 at 7 pm
Field prep--does not have to stay for whole game. Prep at the beginning and then leave.
Scorekeeper--experience preferred but we will provide training. This is no more difficult than keeping book for a team during the season. Should not be parent of team playing.
Scoreboard-- push buttons-simple. Should not be parent of team playing.
Pitch Counter- tracks # of pitches for each pitcher on each team. Should not be parent of team playing.
Cooler with drinks--provide cooler. Do not need to run drinks to umpires between innings. Can drop off at beginning of game and pick up at end.
Game coordinator --can provide training/needed information. The most experienced people are leaving the League as their kids age out, so we need to get experienced before that happens. Should not be parent of team playing.
