I 1994 Fall Season 1
Starting with the Y.M.C.A./U.S.F.T.L. this is
Dave "Bulldog" Mitchell's innaugural season of hosting Flag-Football.
Mitchell's team, the Glen Burnie Retrievers, which was compiled with of mostly the Glen Burnie Bulldogs of 1983-89 (Mitchells childhood friends),with core unit being Brian Coady, Scott Kasco, Brian Brady, Bill Scanlon, Rob Gregor, Mark Darra and Cliff O'Connor had a perfect 10-0 record going into the playoffs, where they defeated the Delta Faucet Bloodhounds 14-12, coached by long time school friend, Artie Holland.
In the Championship game with the Labradors they were surprisingly upset by the Pasadena Labradors Coached by Ron Adams by the score of 14-12. The Labs had previously beaten the Glen Burnie Greyhounds in the Semi-Final. The Retrievers had beaten the Labradors 3 times in the regular season and were heavily favored to win the title. However, on this day the Labs would play at the top of their game, first with QB Bill Grier connecting with TE Michael Chapman who raced 85 yards to put the Labs up 6-0. The Labs then struck again, this time on defense as DE John James intercepted Retriever QB Brian Coady on the 5 yard line and dove in for the score. The Labs would complete their conversion and go up 14-0. The Retrievers desperately tried to come back, but could not score until new QB Scott Kasco hooked up with RB Dave Mitchell for 2 TD's from 40 and 45 yards out. The final one coming with under 5 seconds to play. The Retrievers went for 2, to tie the game and send it into OT, but Kasco's pass sailed way above Mitchells head who was open in the back of the endzone as no time was left on the clock.
Labs QB Grier, whom had a lengthy phone conversation with Mitchell earlier in the week expressed how his dream since childhood was to win a championship in football, saw his dream come true as the sun set on that day. Mitchells dream would not come true until nearly 6 years later...
The loss lead to disention and controversy amongst the players as Kasco would form his own team, the Glen Burnie Rottweilers and Coady would bring together the Glen Burnie Pitbulls for the 1995 fall season...while Adams would bring back the Labs for 2 more seasons in 1996 before handing the team over to Pete Boone for the next 2 seasons in 1997, and then taken over by Vance Jones(an original Lab) until their eventual fold at the end of the 1998 fall season, as Jones retired and Boone was aquired as starting CB by the Packers.

V 1997 Spring Season 2
The Regulators still lead by Coach/Capt. Alan "Steve" Johnson got to the Title game this season defeating the Labradors, lead by Pete Boone.
Rob Elliotts Boxers came back to try and win their second Championship after defeating Golas's Bloodhounds in the Semi-Finals.
The Pitbulls were still working on building a winning team and the Huskies had to rebuild.
The Regulators prevailed 32-12 over the Boxers much to Elliotts disappointment, giving the their first Titile in the BullDog Anne-Arundel county 9-man league.
Each player was made an individual trophy with their name on it to give posterity to their first title in the league.

VI 1997 Fall Season 4
The Bloodhounds still coached and captained by Jeff Golas closed out their franchise history by winning the championship (Golas would then merge with the Packers), this time lead by QB John McGraw.
In their debut, the Bucs(aka Sooners) made their first Big Dog Bowl appearance defeating the USCG Dobermans for the Division crown.
Bark division A.A.F.B. Retrievers had a very good year, defeating the Labradors in the playoffs, but fell short to the Bloodhounds to get into the championship.
The Huskies lost 6 of their games by a touchdown or less as they couldn't find a way to get over the hump. While Rottweilers merged with the Pitbulls, but their losses lead to much controversy and were sent reeling.
The Dobermans got by the Afghanhounds to get into the Semi-Final game with the Bucs. The Bullmastiffs, whose losses came without Coach/Capt. Brian Pratt and some other leadership folded up as that lead to their demise, as the incumbant John Blessing could just not get them together. The German Shepards lead by Coach/Capt. Ivan Quinones went belly up after dropping their first few games as they lacked the drive to pay their dues in the league.

VII 1998 Fall Season 5
After 2 rebuilding seasons(Spring'97 and Fall '97), Mitchell finally had the team he needed to contend for the title again.
His Huskies were 7-0-1 going into the 9th game of the season, when in pre-game warm-up Mitchell injured his knee. He was on pace to throw/score over 40 TD's. They were edged their last 2 games by the Afghanhounds and Regulators. Mitchell who threw and ran for 35 TD's with only 3 Int (a record that still stands in regular season play), was back for the playoffs in which he beat the Labradors. The Huskies then advanced to the Championship Game against the Pitbulls, (whom he had beat twice in the regular season) only to fall short once again to a team breakdown in the closing seconds.
