DISTRICT 2 TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS SET FOR JUNE 27-29
The District 2 Little League Baseball Tournament of Champions will be played June 27th - 29th at Four County LL field in New Market. The single elimination tournament is a end of the regular season tournament featuring the best Major league teams from each of the 7 leagues in District 2. The opening round games are on Saturday June 27 are at Noon, 2:30 & 5:00 PM. In the game at Noon the Thurmont LL team will play the East Frederick Lions. At 2:30PM the Brunswick Cubs will play the Frederick American Amvets and in the game at 5PM the Westminster representative will face the host steam from Four county LL. On Sunday the 28th the team from Frederick National will meet the winner of the Thurmont- East Frederick game.
