Marshall County Soccer Club: Coaching

"F" License - 6 hours

Minimum number of coaches required: 15
Objectives
* To provide further information to parent coaches who have previously attended a "G" License.
* To allow parent coaches an opportunity to observe an experienced staff coach work with young players.
Candidate Expectations
* Coaches are expected to participate in field sessions.
* Coaches need to bring pen, paper, and a soccer ball.

The host club will need to provide a group of players of the appropriate age for one field session, e.g. U6 group for
45 minutes (8 to 10 players), U8 group for 1 hour (10 to 12 players), and U10 group for 1 hour (12 players per group).
The course will consist of a 30 minute introduction, a one-hour lecture, three hour long field sessions with players, a one-hour field session with the coaches, and a 30 minute course conclusion and review.

Sample schedule:

8:30 - 9:00 AM
9:00 - 10:00 AM Opening lecture
10:00 - 11:00 AM Field Session with U6's
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Field Session with U8's

Lunch Break

1:00 - 2:00 PM Field Session with U10's
2:00 - 3:00 PM Field Session with Coaches
3:00 - 3:30 PM Course Conclusion
