All-Star Update:

Congratulations to the 10-11 McIntire All-Star Team who beat the Louisa County All-Stars on July 6th to capture the 10-11 Virginia District 14 Championship for the second straight year. Best of luck in the State Tournament, guys!
Congratulations to Craig Builders Baseball!
Craig Builders won the City Championship for the second year in a row, a feat never before done in Charlottesville Little League history. After beating last year's runner up, Big Jim's, formerly The Outback Lodge, 4-1, Craig Builders loaded up the scoreboard to beat the Central League Champion, Kiwanna's, 14-5. Strong performance's from 12 year olds, Jake Allen, Manning Turkheimer, Drew Arnold, Jake Hylton and Lucas Rhondeau, Craig Builders are also McIntire Little League Champions for the third straight year. The 2007 Championship was the first in their 23 year history.

District play starts June 27th throughout the area with several games being played at McIntire, so please come out and support our teams. For scheduling info, please check the VA14 site at:
Over $27,600 was raised this year at the Skills Challenge, well-exceeding our goal of $20,000. Thanks to everyone for their support and generous contributions!
Thanks also to all of the volunteers who spent the day helping out and all of the parents who got the kids out in the streets collecting, even if you could not make it for the event itself. We also want to thank our primary coordinators who spent months planning, recruiting, organizing and cheerleading the event:

We will get you all more information on the top fundraisers, points leaders, but here is a quick snapshot:
Majors – HobbyTown USA raised $4,575.00, Allied Concrete- $4,344.00
Upper Minors – Red Sox - $2,339.00
Lower Minors – Dodgers-$1,325.00

Divisions
Each League has different options on age participation and officials can assist you at registration with what is best for your child
- Tee Ball - Ages 5-7
- Lower Minors (Machine or Coach Pitch): Ages 6-8
- Upper Minors (Kid Pitch): Ages 8-11
- 9-10 Majors: Ages 9-10 (tryout required)
- 9-12 Majors: Ages 9-12 (tryout required)

Proof of residence is required as is a Photo ID
The league you play in is based on your legal residence, thus you must have a proof of residence (Drivers license, power bill, voter registration card). We have maps onsite to assist us in determining the league in which your child will participate.
Fees vary by league but all offer scholarships.
