The McHenry Shamrocks are a youth travel baseball organization currently at the 11 year old level, but are looking for coaches willing to field a team at any level.  Our teams play a very competitive schedule versus teams from McHenry, Lake and Kane Counties. Each team also competes in a number of tournaments during the year.

* Originally, the McHenry Shamrocks played men's traveling baseball from the 1930's through the early 1960's.

* These teams, representing McHenry, traveled around McHenry County playing against teams from Elgin, Johnsburg, Algonquin and other neighboring towns.

* At their peak, attendance for playoff games was estimated to be several hundred strong!

* These young men took pride and delight in respresenting McHenry. Our hope is to instill this same philosophy into the current Shamrocks teams.
