MC Elite Softball Facility ready for practice
MC Elite Gold announces the opening of the MC Elite Softball Facility. We have one 50' batting cage, pitching lanes at 43', two drill stations with nets, as well as SPARQ workout equipment. We expect this to be a great asset for our players.

MC Elite Gold host TOYS FOR TOTS Tournament
MC Elite Gold proudly hosted our 7th Annual Toys For Tots Tournament on December 8th and 9th. It was a very successful tournament with lots of toys given by the teams as part of their entry fee. There will be some very happy children because of everyone's help.

MC Elite Gold Tryouts on August 19, 2007. Tryouts are at 2:00 at the Willis Girls Softball Fields. They are located on Rogers Road.
Please show up early in order to complete the necessary paperwork. All positions are open.

MC ELITE GOLD QUALIFIES FOR ASA GOLD NATIONALS
On a very hot and humid weekend, MC Elite Gold showed the state of Texas that they belong in the ASA Gold Nationals. MC Elite Gold went thru their bracket undefeated and earned the berth to ASA Gold Nationals in Oklahoma City.
Game 1: (Texas Storm - Dixon) Elena Crabtree pitched a masterful 2 hitter for the 6-0 shutout. Elena had 4 K's in the game. Hitting stars included Elyse Seals (1-1, 3B, 2 RBIs, 2 BB), and Ciara Tullos (2-3, 1 RBI, and Holli Hatcher (1-1, RS, 1 SAC).
Game 2: (Texas Thunderbolts) Team pitching effort with Crabtree, Seals, and closing by Sam Cummings in a 5-1 victory. Hitting stars include Cassie Anderson (3-4, 3 SB, 1 RS), Angela Willis (1-2, 2B, 1 RS)and Elyse Seals, Tona Colletti, and Shaun Bryan with a hit apiece.
Game 3: (Texas Terminators) Great pitching performance by Elena Crabtree in a 4-0 victory. Elena's linescore...25 BF, 2 1B, 1 BB, 6 K's. Hitting stars include Elyse Seals (3-3, SAC, 2 1B, 1 3B, 1 RS), Cassie Anderson (2-4, SB), Tona Colletti (2-4), Shaun Bryan (1-2, 1 RS, 1 RBI), Elena Crabtree (1-3, 1 RBI, 2B), Holli Hatcher (1-3, 2B), and Ciara Tullos and Sam Cummings with one hit apiece.
Game 4: (Texas Rapid Fire) Gutsy pitching by Elena Crabtree in a 7 inning ITB thriller for the 7-6 victory. Elena starred in the last inning of ITB. Great job this weekend Big E. Hitting stars include Sam Cummings (2-4, 1B and 3B, 4 RBIs), Cassie Anderson (1-2, 2 RS, SB), Kaycee Bryan (2-3, RS, 2SB), Holli Hatcher (1-3, RS), Haley Egger (1-1, 1B, 2 RBI) and Elyse Seals (1-2, 2 BB, 2 RS, and Game winning RBI).
Great defense was in effect all weekend. Lead by Shaun, Holli, Cassie, and Sam the infield was special. Great plays were made by all include some very acrobatic stretches by Sam at first base. The outfield play was flawless and always in position. I want to add a special commendation for our outstanding catching combination of Jessica Clayburg and Angela Willis. Catching is a hard job and both played extremely well. I think a tuning point was displayed in our 1st game against the Storm. They had a base runner in the 1st inning. She attempted to steal and Jessica gunned her down. They didn't try another steal in the game. I think this was an important moment for us and Jess stepped up to the task. All our pitches have faith in the games called by Jess or Angela. Great job girls.
Congratulations to all the girls on MC Elite Gold. Everyone contributed to the victories and it was truly a team effort.

This is Shaun and Cassie dressed for Splendora Homecoming 2005. They were both part of the Homecoming Court. They really looked special on a special night.
