A. Preschool Gymnastics
BoyGirl
Our Pre-School Gymnastics is divided into two different programs.

*Mom and Tot Classes
These Classes are designed for you to guide your toddler through the introduction of basic gymnastics. Coaches instruct you on how to interact with your child in a safe, growing, fun and exciting learning environment. The social and developmental rewards are endless!

Class length is 45 minutes.


*The 3, 4, and 5yr olds make the big break from mom and dad to start building a skill foundation in the sport of gymnastics by climbing, rolling, swing, balancing, jumping, and having a great time. The preschoolers have an area and equipment designed just for them to learn the basics of gymnastics on all 4 Olympic events.

Class length is 45 minutes.


B. Cheerleading

M G & C Cheerleading Program
    Through our different levels of cheer at Maumelle gymnastics and Cheer we provide a safe and exciting atmosphere where Kids of all ages can explore the world of cheerleading. Our cheer classes provide students with all of the fundamentals necessary to be a great cheerleader on any level. Along with life long skills such as strong work ethics, time management, sportsmanship, teamwork and respect. Our classes teach cheer, motion, jump, tumbling, and dance techniques.

Cheer Basic
K– 6th grade
*MGC t-shirt and shorts Required

Cheer Stars
1st – 8th grade

Cheer Extreme
1st - 9th grade
*Uniform Required
Tryouts are in the Spring
This squad competes at competitions around the state and performs at local community events.


C. School Age Gymnastics
Kindergarten students have a special class just for their stage of development to help them make the transition from pre-school to school age gymnastics. They will Spend the year learning basic fundamentals to prepare them for the school age progression program.
1st grade and above boys and girls are placed in class according to our skill level progression program. New students are placed in a level 1&2 class, while established gymnasts enroll in class according to the skill progression level they are currently working on. Please confirm your gymnasts current level with our staff before enrolling.

D. Tumbling
This class teaches various levels of tumbling skills. Conditioning and flexibility exercises are used for adding strength and range of motion to help make any gymnast a better tumbler. This class is a great way to enhance skills for cheerleading or for that gymnast that just loves to tumble!


E. After School Club
After school club is a parent inspired program for Pine Forest students that combines after school care and gymnastics instruction.


F. Gymnastics Team
Our USAG level 4 competition team is selected from our level 5&6 progression program; after a coach evaluation. They compete at local meets during the school year.

G. Back Hand Spring and Cartwheel Clinics

These clinics are designed to help gymnasts who are in need of a little extra coaching or who are wanting to perfect their skills. These clinics are one hour in length. Check our calendar for the day and time of our next clinic.


H. Summer Camps

Summer camps are the highlight of the summer. The camps we offer include:

               *Cheer Camp

               *Preschool Gymnastics Camp

               *School Age Gymnastics Camp

               *Gym & Swim Camp
                     (formally Sparks Camp)
Our camps help improve on skills while letting loose and having fun.


I. Maumelle Dance Academy
All classes are taught by our very own Ms. Amy began her dance studies at the age of three. Her training has been with many acclaimed dance instructors such as Christina Fossemalle of California, Marti Justice of Parkveiw High School, Sally Riggs of Studio One, and Debbie Rawn of Dance Works. Amy has attended dance workshops in Arkansas, Oklahoma , Texas, and Missouri. She began her instructor training with Debbie Rawn in 1992 and has gone on to teach in Hot Springs at
Andrea’s Foundation for the Art’s And Lips, Fingers & Toes. Her classes emphasize technique, flexibility over all body strength, self-esteem and above all a passion for dance.
Ms. Amy is the mother of two children and continues her dance education thru workshops offered by Arkansas Dance Network.
